Sunny View Elementary School students learned about fire safety this fall with visits from two important community service organizations.

The Sunny View Fire Department brought their fire trucks and smokehouse and taught students how to be safe in a fire emergency.

The N.C. Forest Service also brought Smokey Bear, and taught students how to prevent forest fires.
