In 2003, Father Walter Bryan returned to his roots in Polk County and accepted the position of Rector at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Tryon.

After a decade of service there, Fr. Bryan is now retiring, and on Sunday, Nov. 24, the congregation and community will celebrate this sad, yet joyous, occasion

A special service will begin at 12:30, with a reception and visit by Bishop Porter Taylor to follow.

All friends and well-wishers are encouraged to attend.
