Operation Christmas Child shoebox collection dates

Published 12:58 am Wednesday, November 13, 2013

Packing a shoebox for needy children has become a great need that Polk County citizens see as they begin processing shoeboxes for needy children.
The receiving children are in a spiritual battleground, infested with drugs, gangs and armed rebels. Yet Christians there have not surrendered their country, and God has been working mightily in answer to their prayers.
We wanted to help them share the joy of Christmas, and shoe box gifts from people like you who make it possible. Each shoebox is filled with prayer, love toys, hygiene items and hope.
Nov. 18 collection for the gift filled shoeboxes begins.
You can drop your gift-filled shoebox off at the Polk Baptist Association on Blanton Street in Columbus.
The hours for shoebox collection are:

Monday, Nov. 18
(9 a.m. to 12 noon)

Tuesday, Nov. 19
(6 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
