Jerry Robert Russell, 72, of 1863 Whiteside Road passed away Nov. 13, 2013.

He was son of the late Hubert and Lillie Summers Russell and husband of the late Betty Jean Rhodes Russell.

He worked at Stonecutter Mill for 35 years and later at Mohawk as night watchman.  He was a member of Byars Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Annette Brock (David) of Green Mountain, NC and Debi Metcalf of Boiling Springs, SC; a sister, Mary Atkins (Allen) of Boiling Springs; seven grandchildren, Jason Metcalf, Alicia Metcalf, Amanda Bridgeman, Justin Metcalf, Austin Metcalf, Clayton Brock and Logan Brock.

The  family  will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at Byars Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m.  at  Byars Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Charles Arledge and Rev. Gene Wilson.
