Tryon Fine Arts Center brings live theater for families to Tryon with Holidays from Around the World on Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.

This original production from Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national professional touring theatre company based in Asheville, introduces young audiences to the traditions and holidays that abound throughout the winter season.

The unique, 45-minute, fast-paced production offers a look into holiday celebrations around the globe.
Audiences will meet characters from countries including Russia, India, and Sweden and even have a chance to participate in unique holiday traditions from Chinese Dragon Dances to the bright and colorful Junakanoo festival in the Bahamas.

Bright Star Touring Theatre has routinely performed at Washington D.C.’s National Theatre and across the country.
Holidays from Around the World is best appreciated by family audiences with children in grades Pre-k through 8th.
