The American Health Care Association (AHCA) has announced that Autumn Care of Saluda has earned the Tier Two recognition level as part of the AHCA’s Quality Initiative Recognition Program (QIRP). The accomplishment means that the facility has worked to improve the lives of the individuals they care for, which is what the Quality Initiative concerns ultimately.

AHCA went on to commend the facility’s staff for their proven commitment to quality, demonstrated by their attainment of the Quality Initiative Goals. The goals attained by the Saluda facility included safely reducing hospital admissions and safely reducing the off-label use of antipsychotics.

Dr. David Gifford, MD, MPH, AHCA Senior Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs sent his congratulations to the facility.
