Glassy Mountain Fire Department is hosting a fun-filled open house on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their headquarters at 2015 Highway 11, Landrum.
An abundance of activities and events are planned for all ages including the MedTrans helicopter and crew, fire station apparatus tours and fire prevention trailer demonstrations, a bouncy house and other surprises for kids along with hot dogs and hamburgers – all free.
The Blood Connection will be holding a blood drive and the Greenville County Emergency Medical Services professionals will be providing in-home CPR training for the whole family.
