The challenges of caring for others can be demanding, stressful, and – at times – overwhelming. Even taking good care of oneself can be a daunting task at times.
Care Fair 2013 is on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Isothermal Community College (ICC) in Columbus.
It is dedicated to the caregiver in all of us… whether the caregiving is full-time, part-time or every once in a while.
Whatever challenges you face can only be helped by spending a couple of hours at the Resource Fair planned especially for you!
The event will include chair massages, blood pressure checks, door prizes, healthy snacks, exhibitors of area services that you might need and a presentation that will delight you:
“Five Happy Things” – a spirit-lifting coping tool developed by Meg and Todd Hoke who have worked in health care for a combined 30-plus years.
The event is free, but please let us know you’re coming. Call Hospice of the Carolina Foothills at 828-894-7000.
Care Fair 2013 is sponsored by St. Luke’s Hospital, Seasons for Life Home Care, ICC- Polk Campus and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
