On Oct. 10, following a delicious potluck supper, Randy Grobe of Frog and Swan, Inc., valued items that were brought to the Pea Ridge Community Center for evaluation.

There were beautiful glass pieces, an Indian doll, a Coot (duck) decoy, rare books, a framed map and much more.

Grobe entertained the group with family stories, anecdotes about himself, and asked questions about where, when and how the pieces were acquired.

Grobe indicated that it was a comfortable bridge table chair for a short lady. The program was a fundraiser for the Christmas Fund to help a needy family.

Mark your calendar; Grobe has already agreed to do another Antique Road Show on the second Thursday in October 2014.

The Pea Ridge Community Center’s November gathering will be a festive holiday potluck. Everyone is invited to participate.
