Originally named the “Mutt Show,” the Any & All Dog Show has been a longstanding tradition held at Harmon Field. It was created by local horseman Samuel A. Bingham Jr. and originally coincided with the famous Wednesday afternoon Tryon Riding & Hunt Club horse show of years past.

This year’s dog show brings a new feature, the Canine Unit from Columbus Police Department at 3 p.m. Deputies Jerad McFalls and Ronnie Russell will introduce two real world canines from the unit; Kimbo and Ike.

Both dogs will demonstrate their elite training, separate from the family dogs in the show. Participants may also enjoy specialty vendors and the Blessing of the Dogs by Father Mickey Mugan of Holy Cross Church, at 1:45 p.m.

Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. with the show starting promptly at 2 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Foothills Humane Society.
