On Thursday, Sept. 26, the Campobello Gramling Wildcats took on the Landrum Middle School Cardinals on the campus of Landrum High School.

The action began quickly as CGS running back Anthony Brown took the opening kick-off and raced down the sideline 65 yards for a touchdown.

The Wildcats would add two more touchdowns by eighth grader, Chandler Adams, and entered halftime up 22-0.

During the second half the Wildcats added another touchdown run by Brown, and the Wildcats held off a furious Cardinal rally to win 28-14. (article submitted by Kathryn Mitchell)
