April Dawn Bailey and Brian Joseph Crowder were married on Sept. 7, 2013 at Roger’s Park in Tryon.

The Rev. Warren Elliott officiated at the noon wedding and wedding music was presented by Josh and Nikki Baker.

The bride is the daughter of Philip and Joanne Bailey of Rutherfordton, N.C. and the groom’s parents are John K. and Sheree Crowder of Rutherfordton, N.C.

The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her father. Amanda Erwood was matron of honor.

Attending as bridesmaids were Amy Bailey, Stacey Moore, Brooke Bailey, Christial Luckadoo, Lindsay Pruette, Angie Hardin and Crystal Lawter.

Junior bridesmaids were Riley and Carley Lawter.

The groom’s best man was his father, John K. Crowder. Groomsmen were Todd Lawter, Tim McEntire, Michael Crowder, Edward Bailey, Kelly Luckadoo and Bryan Hardin.

Junior groomsmen were Christian Hardin and Garrett Crowder.

Cody Hardin was ring-bearer and the miniature bride and miniature groom were Kynley Lawter and Cayden Hardin. Attending the guest register were Michaela McEntire and Melanie Stiles.

The bride is a pre-k teaching assistant at Polk Central Elementary School and the groom is employed by Carolina Construction.

After a six-day cruise to Grand Turk, Jamaica and Nassau, the couple is at home in Polk County.
