The Carolina Foothills Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a “Marketing for Your Business,” a Mountain BizWorks-facilitated five-session course beginning Monday, Oct. 14 from 6–9 p.m.

“Marketing for Your Business” participants will develop a solid, focused marketing plan that is essential to the growth and success of any small business. Participants will learn to define their target markets; brand their product or service effectively; attract and retain customers; succeed in sales and customer service; and measure the efficacy of marketing efforts. They will also learn the No. 1 rule in marketing so that the product or service sells itself.

This class is perfect for small business owners in the foothills who are finding creative ways to prosper and promote this historic mountain area while keeping jobs and revenue close to home. All types of business owners are welcome – from artists to shop-owners to farmers – and will discover new ways to stand out in their niche, understand their customers and increase business revenues.
