The Landrum Lions Club needs the community’s help.

The organization is soliciting nominations for an individual from the Landrum area to be selected as the 2013 Landrum Citizen of the Year.

Nominations should be 500 words or less, and the deadline for nominations is Oct. 31.

The Landrum Area Business Association will also recognize the Citizen of the Year as the grand marshal for the 2013 Landrum Christmas Parade.

Nominations should be mailed to the Landrum Lions Club at PO Box 262, Landrum, S.C., 29356.
