Fall Fest at the Landrum Library continues Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. with a performance from “The John Henrys.”

Lead by Russ Wilson with his drums and vocals, this jazz band from Asheville keeps the atmosphere lively with its gypsy jazz sounds.

Wilson, drummer for the Firecracker Jazz Band and leader of his own orchestra, has played with the best. He has currently conducted his concert orchestra in a tribute to Paul Whiteman at the Diana Wortham Theatre in Asheville.

Join the library for another night of music on the lawn with Wilson and the New Orleans jazz sounds of The John Henrys, free at the Landrum Library.
