During the week from Aug. 25 through Sept. 1, 2013, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 173 calls for service.

There were 34 arrests, 22 citations, 47 criminal papers served and 19 civil papers served.

Officers completed 266 house checks, 301 church checks, 506 business checks, assisted other agencies three times, assisted the public six times and patrolled 6,266 miles.
