John Mitchell Lankford passed away unexpectedly Sept.  2, 2013. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church in Landrum.

Survivors include his parents, George Mitchell and Audrey Nell (Godfrey) Lankford; wife Debra “Debbie” Ann (Burrell) Lankford; daughters, Crystal Lankford and Amanda Lankford Loveridge and her husband Lance; and grandson, Zachary “Noah” Loveridge.

Funeral services will be held Sept. 5 at 2 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church in Landrum.
