It’s time to connect the heating system from St. Luke’s Hospital’s current building to the new hospital wing under construction, so Keith White, engineer with St. Luke’s Hospital, and Joey Garrin a welder/pipefitter with Shoffner, are working together to make the connection. The guys were up the ladder and working in the ceiling to tie in lines that will circulate water for the heating system. Construction on the hospital’s new $5.6 million patient wing is making great progress, according to Brad Smith, project manager with Brasfield Gorrie, the general contractor managing the project.
