Whitmire visits House of Flags

Representative Chris Whitmire (NC district 113) recently visited the House of Flags museum in Columbus. He was accompanied by several members of his staff. Whitmire commented, “This is an outstanding museum. I am fortunate  to have this wonderful one of a kind museum in my district and North Carolina is fortunate to have this great symbol of patriotism and history of our nation.” The House of Flags museum is located in Columbus and is open for visitors on Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Special tours can be arranged at other times by calling  828-894-5640.
