Many generous Americans nationwide have been donating blood to ensure a sustained and secure blood supply for all.

Together with The Blood Connection, these blood heroes are ensuring the safest possible blood is readily available whenever and wherever needed.

Everyone expects blood to be available for us in an emergency, but barely a fraction of those who can give do. Yet sooner or later, virtually all of us will face a time of great vulnerability in which we will need blood. And that time is all too often unexpected.

St. Luke’s Hospital is helping make sure that blood is available by sponsoring a blood drive with The Blood Connection on Thursday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

All presenting donors will receive a movie ticket and a special T-shirt. By sponsoring a blood drive, St. Luke’s Hospital is helping save and improve the lives of individuals in need of blood.
