In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 with Judge T. Mack Brittain presiding, 57 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Rosie Nodine was convicted of misdemeanor conversion. Nodine was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.

Linda Star Sain was convicted of failure to wear seat belt-driver. Sain was fined $161.
