Enjoying Harmon Field in-between rain

On an overcast but not raining day in July, residents of LaurelHurst and family members took a bucket of fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, watermelon and brownies to picnic by the river at Harmon Field. Many residents walked the trails after eating and watched children playing in the water. “There’s nothing better than a picnic in the summer” said one resident. It was a perfect day to sit outside, enjoy nature and eat with their hands. (photo submitted by Jennifer Thompson)
