Landrum High School’s athletic booster club held its annual golf tournament Saturday, June 15 at the Links of Tryon Country Club, sponsored by Knights Apparel and the Susan Hodge Foundation.

Winning teams were:

First place – Landrum Drug

Second place – Donnie Brown team

Closest to pin – No. 4 – Ken “Pop” Fowler

Closest to pin – No. 12 – Ricky Roach

Long drive – No. 18 – Tim Tucker

LHS Athletic Director John Cann said Landrum appreciates all the players on the 25 teams that played and all the sponsors and donors of the annual golf tournament.

“We had a beautiful day at the Links for our tournament – moved from a May 18 rainout. The staff at The Links did a great job hosting the event. Everyone left with a nice door prize and all the money raised goes right back to our student-athletes at Landrum High School,” Cann said. “We strive to run a first class program and could not do it without you.”
