8-year-old’s birthday wish benefits Outreach

Instead of asking for the typical toys, games or sports equipment that 8-year-olds usually put at the top of their birthday wish-list, Kaden Powell asked his friends and family for food for his birthday. Powell requested the  food to donate to Thermal Belt Outreach Ministry’s (Outreach’s) food pantry.  Because of Powell’s generosity, Outreach received more than 100 pounds of vegetables, cereal, rice, spaghetti sauce and other pantry staples.
