Polk County tailgate markets are gearing up for a new season. Come out for fresh, local produce, baked goods, crafts and plants. All items are grown or made right here in Polk County.

The Columbus market had its first day Saturday, April 13.  Kale, sweet potatoes, micro-greens and vegetable plants were available, plus farm fresh eggs, jams and jellies. You can get coffee and sweet baked items for your breakfast too.

Visit the Columbus Tailgate Market this and every Saturday 8 a.m.-noon from now until November.

Tryon Market opens Thursday, May 2, 4-6:30 p.m., Saluda Market opens Friday, May 3, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
