The Lanier Library has changed its Wednesday hours. The library will now be open from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Additional hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Lanier Library, a Tryon landmark since 1889 and one of only 16 remaining private libraries in the U.S., is located at 72 Chestnut Street. For more information about programs and events, or on becoming a member, please call 859-9535.
