Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held April 10, 2013 with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 136 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Patricia C. Boyter was convicted of unsafe movement. Boyter was fined $30 and court costs.
Kelly Ann Council was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Council was fined $30 and court costs.
Ethan David Inabinett was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Inabinett was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Justin Michael Keyser was convicted of speeding 59 mph in a 50 mph zone. Keyser was fined $30 and court costs.
Michael Dereck Kobap was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kobap was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Christopher D. Nesbitt was convicted of two counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Nesbitt was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Liam Patrick Quinn was convicted of resisting public officer. Quinn was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Marie Catherine Rosasco was convicted of speeding 92 mph in a 65 mph zone. Rosasco was fined $92 and court costs.
Sandra F. Shelnutt was convicted of fictitious information to officer, open container after consumption of alcohol first and driving while license revoked. Shelnutt was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Sylvia Elaine Wilkins was convicted of larceny by trick. Wilkins was sentenced to two years supervised probation, $1,975 in restitution and court costs.
