On Feb. 18 the men of the Men’s Monday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club met in the home of Ken Yeager for its weekly contest of duplicate bridge games.

The afternoon’s play ended with first place being claimed by the partnership of Don Tucker and Mike Verbonic.

The partnership of Mickey Brandstedter and the host, Ken Yeager, finished in second place and the Dick Belthoff and Ben Woodward partnership placed third.

This session concluded the club’s winter 11-match tournament. The winner of those games was Charlie Stratford with 247 points. Placing second with 239.5 points was Ken Yeager with Jack Saunders (231.5) taking the third place and Mickey Brandstedter (226.0) finishing fourth.
