To the editor:

Why is it so important to rush to legalize widespread trapping in Polk County?

All one has to do is call wildlife – they will issue a permit and refer you to someone who will come and legally trap the nuisance animal.

If we can already legally trap and shoot these so-called nuisance animals, why should we lift the ban on steel traps in Polk County?

Who benefits? Maybe we should follow the money.
