Paternal grandparents are Richard and Stathia Hammond of Augusta, Ga. Maternal grandparents are Phillip and Freda Gschwend of Tryon, N.C. Great-grandparents are Louise Sheehan of Tryon, N.C. and Ronald and Louise Gschwend of Campobello, S.C.
