All Saints’ Day
On All Saints’ Sunday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m., the choir of Holy Cross Episcopal Church will present Choral Evensong for the Feast of All Saints.  Musical settings will include O Gladsome Light, by Raymond Weidner; Preces and Responses by John Barnard; Thomas Morley’s Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis; and William H. Harris’s In the Heavenly Kingdom. Craig Williams will serve as cantor.
The traditional service of evening prayer is sung by the choir, along with the reading of lessons, giving the listener the opportunity for contemplative prayer and meditation in the beauty of the Holy Cross sanctuary.
