LaurelHurst recently enjoyed the music of local area teenage group Simple Melodies. The quartet sang some of the residents’ favorite songs from the 1930s and 1940s. They also sang some gospel music. The residents enjoyed homemade peach, vanilla and Butterfinger ice cream during the concert. Here, Jackie Vann, Vera Benson, members of Simple Melodies and Grace Beach enjoy ice cream after the performance.
