Pacolet Area Conservancy (PAC) officials said the organization met its goal and raised more than $10,000 during its fundraiser, “For Land’s Sake,” held recently at Sunnydale in Tryon. More than 85 attendees attended the event, which featured a dinner and live entertainment followed by an auction of handcrafted birdhouses, vacation packages, birding tours and many other valuable items.
