The Tryon Women’s Golf Association event for the day on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Tryon Country Club was Captain’s Choice.
The winning team, with a score of 36, included Becky Walker, Sheila Umlauf, Patsy Hanskat and Lee Heelan. Coming in second with a score of 40 was the team of Sarah Potter, Helen Faber and Bonnie Sakos.
Golf was followed by the monthly luncheon/meeting chaired by Peggy Woodward with the assistance of Peggy Henson and Judy Muncy. The Guys and Dolls Golf Tournament, to be hostessed by the “Dolls,” has been changed to Oct. 11. Sign up at the pro shop for all events.
