The Polk County Public Library recently recognized National Hispanic Heritage month with a Fiesta Preschool Storytime. The fiesta celebrated Hispanic friends and neighbors with stories in Spanish and English, music, food and crafts. Hispanic Heritage Month was designated by Congress to pay tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched the nation and society.
