Carolina Borderline will perform in Columbus Friday, Sept. 14 at Larkin’s Carolina Grill. Carolina Borderline brings a taste of the foothills to traditional bluegrass tunes. The group is a gathering of musicians from upstate S.C. and western N.C. Jeremy Babb (banjo and vocals) and Walter Johnson (mandolin and vocals) both live just across the S.C. line near Lake Bowen. They are joined by Lance Smith (guitar and lead vocals), a resident of Polk County; Patti Owens (bass vocals), from Easley, S.C. and Mike Weathers (guitar and vocals) from Boiling Springs S.C.
