The hike on Nov. 2 is a 5-mile strenuous hike to John Rock in Pisgah National Forest, for autumn views of Looking Glass Rock and the surrounding mountains.
The finale of the fall hiking series, Nov. 16, takes hikers to PAC Protected Walnut Creek Preserve for a 5-mile, moderate loop hike on the private preserve.
