The City of Saluda invites the community to a retirement party for city clerk Doris Marion on Sept. 6 from 6-9 p.m. at The Party Place & Event Center (formerly Saluda Mountain Jamboree), located on Friendship Church Road in Saluda. Marion served as city clerk for almost 25 years. No RSVP is necessary; just drop in anytime during the evening. Cake and punch will be served. (photos submitted by the City of Saluda)
