Ron Crawley, co-editor of “When The Soldiers Came To Town” was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon. His presentation included a history along with photographs of Camp Croft in Spartanburg, which was a World War II U.S. Army infantry replacement training facility.
