Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held June 13 with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 161 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Elizabeth Meque Bowman was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Bowman was fined $30 and court costs.
Christopher Mich Brown was convicted of speeding 34 mph in a 25 mph zone. Brown was fined $30 and court costs.
James Lee Carroll was convicted of possession/display of an altered/fictitious/revoked driver’s license, resisting public officer and driving while license revoked. Carroll was sentenced to 15 days in jail with credit for time served.
James Marshall Cason was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cason was fined $30 and court costs.
Tiffany Cavender was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation out of county. Cavender was sentenced to 14 days in jail.
Gheorghita Chimina was convicted of speeding 91 mph in a 65 mph zone. Chimina was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $91 fine and court costs.
Carson Dockham Jr. was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Dockham was fined $30 and court costs.
Skylar James Donahue was convicted of speeding 95 mph in a 65 mph zone. Donahue was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $95 fine and court costs.
Qemal Duka was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Duka was fined $40 and court costs.
Thomas Mitchel Eubanks was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Eubanks was fined $30 and court costs.
Marshall Geor Florence was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Florence was fined $30 and court costs.
Philip G. Gorbachov was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Gorbachov was fined $30 and court costs.
Joshua Duane Harvey was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor and no seat belt. Harvey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs for failure to appear and fined $25 and court costs for no seat belt.
Kenneth Lee Hooper Jr. was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Hooper was fined $40 and court costs.
Nicholas Joseph Lak was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lak was fined $30 and court costs.
Nicholas Tyler Logan was convicted of speeding 70 mph in a 65 mph zone. Logan was fined $20 and court costs.
Jonathan Martinez was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Martinez was fined $30 and court costs.
Chitiqua Joette Miller was convicted of providing fictitious information to officer. Miller was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Timothy Lee Sain was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Sain was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Kate E. Schacki was convicted of speeding 91 mph in a 65 mph zone. Schacki was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $91 fine and court costs.
Jeffery Michael Silver was convicted of consume/offer at ABC store and unsealed wine/liquor in passenger area. Silver was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $35 fine and court costs.
Laura Beth Vandusen was convicted of driving while license revoked. Vandusen was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
