Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court held June 6, 2012 with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 94 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime (names are given as they appear in court records):
Carla Praytor Bradley was convicted of felony conspiracy. Bradley was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs.
James Allen Carr was convicted of felony larceny. Carr was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, $4,000 in restitution and court costs.
Carl R. Coleman was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Coleman was fined $40 and court costs.
Donny Boyd Collier was convicted of speeding 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. Collier was fined $90 and court costs.
Teresa Jean Giles was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Giles was sentenced to 14 days in jail with credit, a $300 fine and court costs.
Matthew Kiel Kensland was convicted of misdemeanor assault inflicting serious injury. Kensland was sentenced to one year supervised probation and to complete Steps To Hope program.
Shelly Ann Moss was convicted of driving after consuming under age 21. Moss was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
Shelly Ann Moss was convicted of misdemeanor common law forgery. Moss was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, $103.50 in restitution and court costs.
Robin Johnson Rhodes was convicted of failure to wear seat belt – driver. Rhodes was fined $25.50 and court costs.
