Above: Students in Mrs. Maneen’s fifth-grade class at Saluda Elementary School recently made weather instruments to collect and interpret data for their science unit on weather and climate. These enrichment activities were made possible through a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation. Pictured are Garrett Isgette, Judy Laughter, Georgia McCullough and Sadie Allen.
