Black cohosh, one of the native plants being rescued in a joint effort by the Pacolet Area Conservancy and Tryon Garden Club. Weather permitting, plants are collected on Wednesday, and freshly dug plants are available for sale at the Pacolet Area Conservancy office on Thursday mornings.
