The Book Shelf in Tryon invites the community to join local author Robin Edgar on Saturday, May 12 from 1:30 – 2 p.m., when she will give a brief demonstration about how to use the principles from her book, “In My Mother’s Kitchen: An Introduction to the Healing Power of Reminiscence” to recall and record those significant memories. Whether you want to present these memories as a gift to your mother, or use them to celebrate someone who is gone, Edgar said you will be amazed at the healing power of reminiscence.
