Midway Baptist Church, located at 2101 N.C. Hwy. 108 E. will celebrate its 74th homecoming on May 6. The special guest speaker will be former pastor William Swink, who is currently the pastor at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, N.C.
Also featured will be the Sammy Glass Family, a southern gospel music group.
The service will start at 11 a.m. and last until approximately 12:30 p.m., with a covered dish luncheon to follow.
