It won’t be just the aroma of lasagna and spaghetti that greets diners Saturday night at Tryon United Methodist Church’s Italian dinner. Displays of affordable silent auction items will be on offer for guests to explore before and after dinner. Here, Pastor Phillip Hurst eyes one of the items that will be available in the auction. Tickets are on sale at Cowan’s Hardware and Owens Pharmacy in Tryon and at The Flower Cottage in Columbus. They can also be obtained from the church office and at the door.
