Linda is a columnist for the online magazine “GoodVeg” and author of the book, “Wildly Affordable Organic: Eat Fabulous Food, Get Healthy and Save the Planet – all on $5.00 a Day or Less.”
She is a researcher and a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals. She teaches classes at a wide range of venues, from national conferences to grocery stores to co-ops. She gives cooking demonstrations at farmers’ markets and groups interested in cooking great food, controlling expenses, losing weight, raising healthy children, fighting hunger or reducing their impact on the planet.
The exciting part about the “Cook for Good” lifestyle, Watson said, is that you can focus on one of those goals and create lots of other goodness as side effects.
For more information and to sign up for the class call the Cooperative Extension Service at 828-894-8218.
