A few spaces remain for Isothermal Community College’s new therapeutic massage program starting April 10 at ICC’s Polk Center in Columbus.
The six-month program will combine class time with hands-on practice of massage techniques. Coursework will include anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, business practices, ethics and specific massage modalities. Upon completion graduates of the program may apply for the MBLex exam to practice therapeutic massage in the state of North Carolina.
The class will meet each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. April 10 – October 18, 2012.
