Art of Lent at Isothermal Community College – Polk April 4

In recognition of the season of Lent, Isothermal Community College will host a color slide presentation on the last events in the earthly life of Christ, commonly known as “The Passion,” as portrayed by artists from a variety of European countries.
The program will take place Wednesday, April 4 at 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium at ICC’s Polk Center in Columbus. The presentation will include “Christ’s Entry into Jerusalem,” “The Last Supper,” “The Road to Calvary,” “The Crucifixion,” “Descent from the Cross,” “Lamentation” and “The Entombment.”
Art historian Dr. Ben Pfingstag will present the program. Pfingstag teaches continuing education classes at Isothermal Community College’s Polk Center.
