Bridge players at the Tryon Youth Center celebrated Martha Fredrick’s 96th birthday. (Her birthday was March 20 and the group celebrated on March 22.)
Sally Jo Carter said Fredrick is one of her best students. Fredrick said the secret to a long and active life is knowing how to play your cards right.
